The outcome would bring either good news or bad news.
I had no control over what type of news I would receive.
No control can leave one feeling vulnerable.
But there is one thing that we can control. Our thoughts.
Certain situations can leave us feeling helpless but it doesn’t mean we are hopeless. I always had hope. Hope that better days were ahead.
I am grateful to say that I received good news that day.
Reflecting back on the past year, I realized that hope prevailed.
Better days were displayed with an array of new things for me.
A new job. Two new puppies. My new book published.
Most importantly, good health and a new lease on life.
All these things were unforeseen. But that’s what faith is all about.
The substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
